By gently tapping on various points on the body
(around the face, neck and hands) while focusing on some upsetting experience,
physical pain, food or substance craving, or disturbing thought, the intensity of the upset of that pain,
craving, thought
or experience is often significantly relieved or eliminated altogether.

EFT Testimonials
"Today I tapped on being left alone or at
least feeling like I was left alone as a child at Disneyland. I remember
crying and being away from my mother. I think I was still with family but I
felt like I was away from my mother for the first time. I also tapped on my
parents getting divorced. I remember that being real upsetting to me when I
was 5. I don't feel upset at these things now but thought since they were
some of the earliest hurt feelings I could remember that I would hunt for
some of the biggest trees in the forest and buy cutting them down them
possibly they would take down other trees on the way. Since I don't still
feel the pain of those issues at a high level I'm not sure the tapping would
work.
It did get rid of some if not all of any pain I could conjure up about those
issues. Did it do any good...........I don't know. I do know I feel closer
to my mom and feel a little more love for her so that's a plus, and I feel
less pain about those issue. I also seem to feel more love for myself,

"I heard that Aisin Auto Manufacturing in Marion does tapping of some kind
with it's workers in the morning before the shift. They all do a 15 minutes
warm-up before and after their shift and I heard that tapping is offered.
Paula a friend of mine who does some cleaning for us is married and the man
she is married to works at Aisin. Paula's daughter is the one that has
totally taken to EFT so her dad has seen it. He said they were doing the
"tapping stuff" at his work. Soooo....Kewl : )" - name withheld
"...dare I say....life changing!"
"this s--t really works!"
"I never thought this could happen. My
personality... my self-concept... has changed. And it continues to change
though I ended therapy spring '07.
I was propelled into therapy during the
summer of '06 when an ordinary sort of life event took on importance out of
all proportion to reality. I was riddled with unsettling memories from
childhood. I cried and sometimes trembled. My lifelong intellectualizing
didn't work.
In therapy, I was asked to picture the
feeling. While I did that, I sobbed... heaving sobs... and Annette tapped on
the accessible points as per EFT. I trusted and sobbed, sometimes for 45
minutes; Annette tapped, and I learned how to calm myself before leaving. As
the most immediate storm passed, I learned to tap for myself. Yes, tapping
sounds very strange. But I learned about EFT from Annette and from reading
everything I could find about it. Try though I might, the learning did not
take the place of feeling.
Frightening memories became matters of little
interest to me. Imagine that? So I'd picture less frightening memories,
which again gave way. Slowly, tapping gave way to my just talking with
Annette. I'd refer to a trauma of the past, and yawn.
As I write, Christmas is approaching. Last
year, I didn't put up a tree. This year, the tree is up and I'm starting to
hang a million ornaments. My house has been painted outside and most of
inside. Things are organized and cleaned up, including pets and my own
medical needs. I wake up each day with too many things that I love to do.
Just once has an event brought threatening tears. I went ahead and cried,
and then tapped. As the British would say: done and dusted.
It's a miracle." - name withheld
"I was extremely skeptical about EFT
because it was extremely simple. I used it initially to help me with panic
attacks. I would start to tap when I first felt my anxiety rising. The
process worked great so much so that I did not have any more panic attacks.
The best experience was when I went to the dentist. I tapped while I waited
for my appointment. When the assistant took my blood pressure, it was 20
points less than it had been six months prior to learning EFT! I thought it
was a fluke until the next day. I had to return for some follow-up work so I
was back in the same dentist chair. I tapped again while waiting and my
blood pressure was still 20 points below and this was at the dentist!
I have tapped on my fingertips while walking or in public to help me stay
grounded. I highly recommend that everyone learn this technique because it
is a very powerful tool." - name withheld
