Is Telephone Consulting Available?
In certain circumstances, after an initial face-to-face visit, telephone consultations may be an option for individual clients who is not at serious risk. Determination of this risk is solely at the discretion of Dr. Vaillancourt. Such services are paid in full by the client and will NOT be billed to the health insurance policy.
What is Dr. Vaillancourt's Training and Experience?
Dr. Vaillancourt received her
doctorate in Counseling Psychology with a specialty in Women's Issues from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1990. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. She has been in private practice since 1990 and has worked as Stress Management Coordinator at Southern Illinois University Student Health Programs-Wellness Center.
She also has been trained as a personal and business coach through MentorCoach.
Dr. Vaillancourt is interested in mind/body healing,
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT),
PSYCH-K®,
EMDR, dreamwork, imagery and metaphor in psychotherapy, meditation and relaxation techniques, couples' communication and stress management.
